It’s a Dogs Life

* WPG2 Plugin Not Validated *My family gets to take all of these day trips to really cool places- but I am the one who is missing out on some awesome head out the window, beard blowing in the wind, prime sniffing time. I get to nap where and when I please while they are gone without any interruptions and thankfully (a couple months ago) they finally put in my doggie door- that makes my bladder really happy!
In the evening I get to watch the picture show of where they have been all day on the big screen. I don’t really understand what I am looking at, but they seem to enjoy the fact that I do pay attention to their outing pictures.* WPG2 Plugin Not Validated *

A comment was made a while back in reference to one of the birds that make my yard home. This particular bird- I discovered after much research is a hoopoe* WPG2 Plugin Not Validated *
Lately I have also been visited by a group of 5 parrots. * WPG2 Plugin Not Validated *They don’t seem to mind me much, as long as I just sit and watch them and don’t chase them!
All in all, I like my new yard buddies.

I met “Boo Kitty” about a year ago. We had the opportunity to get “up close and personal” on a couple of occasions when our families got together. I thought she was a rather exotic squirrel the morning that I saw her in my back yard in Florida. To my surprise, she jumped into my pool rather than climb the tree that all the other squirrels in my yard did when I chased them! Her momma had to get the net and fish her out. She stayed under the bed for a couple days after our meeting. I am sad to say that Boo Kitty passed away this morning. I will miss you my “Exotic squirrel”.

sometimes you just have to take time to stop and smell the flowers!
